Testimonials / Mrs. I. M. Pyner
I am pleased to tell anyone considering whether to have a dental implant about my particular experience which is as follows:
I freely admit that the idea of a tooth implant did not appeal to me. But the option of an implant, rather than a bridge or lower dental plate, led me to decide that it was the most sensible way to proceed. I had lost a tooth in the centre of the lower jaw and I thought that it was the best treatment having regard to the adjacent teeth.
I was fortunate, indeed, that I received such expert treatment from Mr. Barwell. All stages of the procedure were carefully and fully explained, and I was very surprised that so little discomfort was felt throughout. To have the teeth in my lower jaw restored to a good condition gives me much satisfaction and is, of course, very good for my health. Although some may think a dental implant is an expensive way to replace a lost tooth, I consider it to be worth every penny. I believe the fee charged is about the same as any other dental practice. Considering the years spent studying and perfecting the skills of a dental surgeon specialising in dental implants – as well as all the time, products and costs of maintaining a surgery – the fee I paid was very reasonable indeed.
Should anyone ask me if a dental implant is a good idea for dealing with lost teeth, my answer would be that I believe it is the best way, if your dentist agrees it is appropriate. Just ensure that the dental surgeon is up to Mr. Burwell’s standard of skills.
Yours sincerely
I. M. Pyner
