Multiple Tooth Replacement

Multiple teeth can be replaced by implants to give you back the aesthetics and function you deserve.

  • Implants look function and feel like real teeth
  • Permanent. You do not remove them at night
  • Implants do not suffer hot and cold sensitivity
  • Implants preserve bone by replacing the tooth root
  • Never loose and uncomfortable like a denture
  • No damage to adjacent teeth as caused by a bridge
  • Excellent cosmetic result often impossible to tell the difference between implants and real teeth

Two or more teeth are replaced either with single implants, or by joining two or more implants together. The importance of replacing missing back teeth cannot be over emphasised as this is the area that gives the biting platform and support to the front teeth. Don’t forget the front teeth are designed for biting and the back teeth for chewing. Missing your chewing teeth can result in excess stresses on your front teeth which will cause damage in the long term.

If you are unfortunate enough to have lost all of your teeth you can have 6-8 implants joined together to produce a very strong replacement, enabling you to smile and eat again with confidence.

In some cases with the imaging and computerised technology seen only at The Implant Centre we can carry out the surgery without having to cut the gums or place stitches, hence resulting in little or no swelling, pain or bruising. You may also be able to have the bridge fitted on the same day!

The implants can also help to maintain the bone structure of your jaw, and so the support of you lips and cheeks. Without this support wrinkles, lines and the sinking in of the tissues can cause premature ageing.

The team at the implant centre will give you as much information as possible during your assessment, and will decide on how many implants you need to regain the function and aesthetics you deserve.

"I am most grateful for the wonderful and skilled job you have done, and sincerely the lower denture is now so firmly secured that I am unaware that I have a denture at all"
